	O-K-Pop II
	It is a zoom in reflected ceiling plan view that pictures three scenarios of conditions where coloured fabrics are being attached and overlaid in different densities. With the loose one taken from the central spine of the space, it has fewer coloured fabrics; yet with the most vibrant movement; with the medium density one that transitions and shows the organic arrangement of tables; and the highest density that allows users to practise music, refuge and meditate.

	Excuse me, but where are you actually from?
	

“Excuse me, but where are you actually from?” uses paper weaving as a medium, reveals and hides the intertwined identities of my diasporic family history originating from Guatemala, Hong Kong and the UK. 


The work was evolved and compiled from a series of cultural motifs from all three countries, and a series of private historical documents from my ancestors, using bright colours to elude the painful memories of parting that was once experienced by them.

	O-K-PoP I
	“O-K-Pop”, Occupying Korean Pop Music, is an architectural project that uses woven and knitted textiles as a material to construct a co-habitional space, where pop music idol enthusiasts, artists and spatial designers coincide to fabricate their vision of entertainment and idols from a bottom up approach, using different properties of fabric to achieve different qualities of space and soundscapes.

	Hungry Ghost Festival
	This project started by studying one of the most significant forms of ritual importation: the Hungry Ghost Festival, a ritual transported from China to Hong Kong by Chinese emigrants, as a way of commemorating the deceased ancestor, and caring for the community during catastrophic times. 


Celebrating during the seventh lunar month. It is thought that the ghosts of Chinese ancestors are let out of hell. Temporary bamboo sheds are built in different parts of the city,  predominantly in an open space, to attract, serve, feed, entertain, and appease the hungry ghost.

	Portable Rights
	This project questions the future of Hong Kong immigrants in the UK- attempting to create and Infiltrate a new ritual in London across different timescales: from a typical daily life of a Londoner, designing daily rituals to be performed on an object, scaling to rituals performed seasonally like a parade.


“Portable Rights” aims to speculate and create a new ritual in London for HK immigrants, by merging the identities of the chinese traditional culture with the new protest identity.
